Ronnie Tjampitjimpa was born in Tjiturruya, Western Australia in 1943. He lived in Haasts Bluff until 1960 and commenced painting in 1971.
Ronnie’s work entails the Pintupi style of strong circles, joined by connecting lines depicting the people, the country and the Dreamtime.
Ronnie is currently the chairperson for the Papunya Tula Artists.
